The aerodrome position is 6,5km South-West of the České Budějovice city center. At the end of Planá municipality it is necessary to turn right to the entrance into the aerodrome area from the road E 55 leading in the direction of Český Krumlov.

The entrance across the area of the military barracks is available only for vehicles of the weight more than 3,5T on the basis of a previous agreement with the military unit commander.

There is a public transport by bus No.6 (Transport Company of the České Budějovice Town Inc.) available according to a valid time schedule for busses.
